Edward Dutton is a British evolutionary psychologist whose work sits at the intersection of intelligence research, evolutionary theory and the study of religion and culture. A prolific author, his books include The Genius Famine (co-written with Michael Woodley of Menie), Spiteful Mutants and The Past is a Future Country. He has held academic positions in Finland and edits the journal Mankind Quarterly. He is widely known to a broader public through his YouTube channel and Substack, both titled The Jolly Heretic.
